illustrator Kateřina Černická

I grew up with a pencil in my hand and my head in the clouds. After time spent in managerial positions, I returned to my essence — to creating, to illustration. Although I work digitally, I value the sense of the human touch within my illustrations, which is why I combine both digital and traditional artistic techniques.

I studied Promotional Art and completed the Illustration Studio at VOŠ Scholastika under the guidance of Vladimír Strejček (DRAWec). I further developed my digital techniques through masterclass courses with Martin Perhiniak as well as a number of other workshops. In 2026, I was granted the official Status of Artist of the Czech Republic.

When I am not drawing, you might find me on adventures with my children, in the forest, in a gallery, in a yoga studio, or in a horse saddle. I look forward to meeting you.!
